What can I say, since we live in 'unprecedented times' (yes, I'm tired of the phrase just as much as ye are), it only makes sense that I do something as crazy as making an appearance in here. Especially that the universe clearly gives me signs that it'd love to see me taking photos again: first by making me drown my old phone and buy something new, something with a really good camera. Then, inspiring my sister to get me a polaroid for my birthday, and finally my boyfriend getting me a DSLR (Canon EOS 2000D) for Christmas. Hope I get to post some nice things in months to come. In other news, last year I finally learned how to sew! Even had a go at pattern drafting, with mixed result. Not sure anything is DA-worthy, though, we'll see. I don't make jewellery any more (no space, no motivation, no reason to either since I already have tons and also work from home, therefore having no good reason to doll up), so I left all DA groups related to the subject. Greetings, my deviant friends! I came by to remind ye of my existence and upload itty bitty photos, mostly of gigs that I've attended in the past months. 2016 was a very metal year for me, so there will be plenty to choose from. At first I did not want to share any of these because they weren't taken with a 'proper' camera (as opposed to a smartphone camera), but then I thought: 'sod it, they aren't that bad and it's not like I'm selling prints or aspiring to be a proper photographer.' Hope you are all keeping well. A lot has changed since my last journal. I have been travelling a bit, changed job and started dating someone new. I haven't done any jewellery in months, but I take photos every so often during my frequent trips to Northern Ireland and beyond. Hope you like them.
